These types of clothing are appropriate for both men and women. The most important thing to consider is the kind of business the employee is participating in. Some companies allow men and women to wear the same clothing if the clothing says it is appropriate for the gender in question.

Casual attire for men generally consists of short-sleeved or capris or jeans with buttoned pockets. Jeans, khakis, or short shirts with a business logo on the front are also considered business casual attire for men. Business casual attire for men generally does not include shorts, body-hugging dresses, tank tops, or tank sandals. Dresses, especially simple ones without any patterns or embroidery, are acceptable.
